  • Sequestration Is.....

    Posted by Kim Brixton

    Learned a new word today:

    Sequestration.

If I had to figure out the meaning by looking at the root word, I would think that it had something to do with a horse.  Like equine jail or something.

It really has to do with the Federal budget.

  • Kelly Clarkson Is No Push Over

    Posted by Kim Brixton

Kelly Clarkson is concerned about what music mogul Clive Davis is saying about her in his newly released memoir, "The Soundtrack Of My Life."

"I love my job. I love my music. I love my fans," she says. "Growing up is awesome because you learn you don't have to cower to anyone – even Clive Davis."

She refuses to be bullied by anyone---including the likes of Clive Davis.

  • Even The Puppies Are Doing The Shake

    Posted by Kim Brixton

The "Harlem Shake" has taken over the Internet for about a week now and everyone and anyone is getting in on it—including Love & Theft.

If you've literally been living under the biggest rock in the world, it goes like this:

One person dances while everyone else goes about their normal business, then the beat drops and everyone starts dancing like crazy in costumes.

These lil' canines don't need costumes however.....

  • Do The Right Thing

My pick for quote of the week was during President Obama's State Of The Union Speech.

“Tonight, let’s declare that in the wealthiest nation on Earth, no one who works full-time should have to live in poverty, and raise the federal minimum wage to $9 an hour. This single step would raise the incomes of millions of working families."

    She wasn't an intruder.
She was the love of 'BLADE RUNNERS' life.
She's dead now, because 'BLADE RUNNER' shot her multiple times.
Oscar Pistorius, the first double amputee to compete in an able bodied Olympic competition is now being charged with murder.

  • The Cruise Was No Carnival

    Posted by Kim Brixton

Ever had a condiment burger?  It's a bun with mustard, ketchup---but no meat.

That's what passengers were consuming after their cruise ship 'Triumph' had some very unfortunate power and 'issues'.

It's been anything but a pleasant vacation for those aboard Carnival's Triumph.
