  • TIGERS, RED WINGS, PISTONS

I was just thinking out loud on the air this morning....

This is the first time in several years that there wasn't a single Detroit team in the playoffs at this time of year.

The Red Wings are eliminated, The Pistons never made it to post season play.

The only consolation to watching the 'other teams' is....

Cindy Crosby and his Penguins are DONE FOR THE SEASON!!

    YAY!!!!

  • Jose tries again!!

When Jose Feliciano last performed the national anthem before a Tigers Home game, the reception was mixed.

His return visit Monday was a dramatic upgrade.  He was cheered, not jeered as he sang the Star Spangled Banner on Ernie Harwelll Night in a tribute to his longtime friend.

Feliciano gave his first anthem performance in Detroit at Tiger Stadium in 1968 for game 5.   Many called it unpatriotic.
