Exercising after work and then getting a good night’s rest is the best way to get yourself ready for a stressful day.

According to research the combination of a physical workout followed by plenty of sleep is the key to avoiding emotional exhaustion or burnout in the workplace.

So, instead of flicking the tube on after you get home from work, you should go for a jog, swim or bike ride first and then aim to sleep longer than usual.
