Thousands gathered to hear President Donald Trump speak during a campaign visit to The Kellogg Arena in downtown Battle Creek.
Over 7,000 waited in the bitter cold for hours to either get into the rally or protest.
The energized crowd of about 5,500 were inside the arena while hundreds, if not thousands watched 'The Merry Christmas' outside on a large screen at Festival Market Square.
There were protest groups outside of the arena. Some even made it inside only to be escorted out. There were a few arrests, but the whole event was relatively peaceful.
Secret Service agents and The Michigan State Police praised the city for a well organized event.
Here are some pictures and video's from the event.
The President arrived a little late but spoke for about two hours.

The spirits were high; even with the protestors.
Notice the crowd outside at Festival Market Square. They were all waiting in line hoping to get a seat inside The Kellogg Arena. The bottom level of the parking structure is filled with people. The line winded in and around the structure, across the street and on the area outside the entrance to The Kellogg Arena.
There were many options to purchase campaign merchandise.
