A SIMPLE Mental Tactic to lower your scores

by Tommy Fox

The most basic mental technique is if you have to believe in your shot. If you have any ounce of doubt that you are going to have a bad shot, you’re going too.

You can’t mistrust your shot. You can’t think, “Boy, I hope this next shot doesn’t go in the sand trap.” Instead say to yourself, “This next shot is going to clear all the hazards.” If you think positively then your game will increase. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert golfer or just a beginner. If you think your next shot will be a good one, it probably will be.

By doing this simple mental trick of always trusting your wing and shot, then you will have a higher number of good shots.

Just remember, you only have to think and trust your s wing in order for your percentage to go up.
