BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A couple of neighbors spending the day fishing got into an argument after some serious drinking in Battle Creek.
Now one of them is in jail and the other is recovering from a bullet wound.
Battle Creek Police aren’t saying what the pair was arguing about.
They responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Greenwood Avenue Wednesday afternoon and found the 50-year-old victim with a minor bullet wound.
He was rushed off to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The suspect, who is also 50, was taken into custody without incident and the gun was recovered.
