According to NORAD, Santa's flight usually begins at the International Date Line in the Pacific Ocean with a westward track.  He wraps up his travels in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Central and South America.  NORAD says that just like airplanes, Santa's route can change due to weather conditions.  Children of all ages who are too excited to sleep can get the most up-to-date location on Christmas Eve of Santa and his reindeer by signing onto www.noradsanta.org.
