Venus and Jupiter closest Thursday

Posted by PJ Lacey on

All week folks have been talking about Venus and Jupiter dancing in the sky. They'll line up, a planetary conjunction Thursday night.

The best viewing for the blazing planets belly bumping on the western horizon will be for about four hours after sunset.  Venus transits happen less than twice per century, so take a nap or stay up for this amazing event.

Anyone have a telescope?
