KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — It was feeling like September, but the mood was definitely Christmas-like as thousands turned out for the annual lighting of the Christmas decorations in Bronson Park.
The Mayor led Christmas Carols, the City Commission recited the “Night Before Christmas” and there was live music, hot cocoa and the Kalamazoo Community coming out to enjoy the Holiday.
When the time came for the lights to be lit, the crowd let out a big cheer when Santa flipped the switch.
The Christmas decorations will be up through the New Year.
