I had a chance once again to visit my friends at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I had a wonderful tour this year lead by Lindsey and Analise (former St. Jude patients - photo below) It's always an amazing experience every time I visit.  I've been involved with St. Jude with radio fundraising since 1994. It means so much to me and if  you ever get a chance to visit, I encourage you to do so.  It WILL put live in perspective!  This kids are fighting for their lives and they are doing it in an atmosphere that is created just for kids.  When you walk in, it's like a playground, seriously.  When families walk in the door, that financial weight is just lifted right off their shoulders asn they are never asked to pay for the treatment.  They NEVER receive a bill thanks to people just like you!  It costs 1.8 million dollars per day to continue their cancer fighting research. On average 260 children per day come to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from all over the world including families from here in Michigan.
