COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first events for this years Branch County Fair will take place Saturday.
The Fair Parade through downtown Coldwater will leave the Fairgrounds at about 4:00 p.m. Those in parade are asked to lineup at 3:30 p.m.
Former state lawmakers Bruce Caswell and Ken Kurtz will serve as the parade grand marshals.
A concert featuring the Christian rock group “Hawk Nelson” will take place in the Amphitheater Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
The fair officially opens Sunday at 12 noon. Sunday’s schedule includes the Poultry Show, antique tractor pulls and the Branch Buds Animal Showing.
The program featuring the crowning of the Fair King and Queen will start at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dearth Center.
The queen candidates are Kalie Swift, Lydia AcMoody and Renee Souva while the king candidates are Adam Clemens, Kyle Russell and Keiayr Modert.
