TAYLOR COUNTY (WRN) - A man and his ex-wife killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Taylor County were identified Wednesday as Donald and Margaret Soyk, both 48. Sheriff Bruce Daniels says he does not believe anyone else was involved in the incident, which happened Tuesday at the couple’s home in the town of Little Black. Investigators said Donald Soyk apparently killed Margaret with blunt force – and then he shot himself to death. Authorities were alerted after the woman failed to show up for work. The Soyks had been divorced since last year, but were still living together.
