KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Another pretty night in Kalamazoo brought out a crowd of partiers along Stockbridge and Portage St. in the Edison Neighborhood. As police were arriving to monitor the event at around 7:30 last night, they saw a teenager fire a gun in the air, stick it in his pocket and run away.
The teen tossed the gun on a rooftop and surrendered soon after. He is in Jail, the .25-caliber semi-automatic is in an evidence locker and he faces prosecution for reckless discharge and carrying a concealed weapon.
