LANSING, Mich (WQTX) Michigan State Police say a trooper fatally shot a gun-toting man after the man threatened to kill others. Police say 40-year-old Anthony Thompson of Delton died at the scene following the shooting. It happened around 6AM Wednesday at a mobile home park north of Kalamazoo. Sheriff's deputies went to Thompson's home on a report of a domestic assault and a suicidal man armed with a shotgun. They say he ignored several demands to drop the weapon. The unidentified trooper has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
