GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- 20-year-old Grand Valley State student Zachary Somples from Kalamazoo County remained in critical condition Friday morning, after he was was struck by another student in a car Wednesday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff's Sergeant Robert Tease, the incident occurred just south of campus in Georgetown Township.
Sompels was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital for treatment, while Turchanik, who is also a GVSU student from Howell, wasn't hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
