KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Interfaith Boulevard is one of the meanest streets in Kalamazoo and once again last night around 9, there was violence there. Three slugs slammed into an apartment where two young children, age 2 and 8 live with their mother. Fortunately none of them were hit. One slug penetrated the bathroom and shattered the medicine cabinet.
Public Safety responded and arrested two men who fled the scene, but they could not locate the gun and the pair denied any involvement in the shooting. They were arrested for obstruction. A motive for the gunfire remains a mystery.
