(Kansas City, MO)  --  Jarrod Dyson hit his first career homer and Josh Fields also went deep as the Royals outslugged the AL Central champion Twins 10-8 in the first-of-three at Kauffman Stadium on Monday.  Lucas May went 2-for-3 with three RBI for Kansas City, which spotted Minnesota a 3-0 lead in the first inning.  KC scored six times in the second, but Minnesota tallied five in the fourth to lead 8-7 before the Royals scored three times in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead for good.  Philip Humber pitched two and two thirds innings of one-run relief to get the win.  Joakim Soria notched his 42nd save.  Jeff Manship took the loss.  Jason Kubel hit a three-run homer and drove in five for the Twins.  Nick Blackburn will take his 10-and-10 record into tonight's game against the Royal's Sean O'Sullivan, who stands at 3-and-6.
