MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) - A series of public forums is being held across Wood County to get input about how the recent merge of the Unified Services and Social Services departments is working out for local residents.
Charlotte Smith, Division Manager for the new Wood County Human Services Department says, “One of the things we want to know is whether residents find our services easy to access.”
Those public forums will be held at the following times and locations:
Wisconsin Rapids
Tues., April 12th, 1 - 2 p.m., Aging and Disability Center
Wed., April 13th, 6–7 p.m., Aging and Disability Center
Marshfield
Wed., April 13th, 6 – 7 p.m., Marshfield Public Library
Pittsville
Tues., April 19th, 6 – 7 p.m., Pittsville Community Center
Vesper
Tues., April 26th, 5 – 6 p.m., Vesper Public Library
