WASHINGTON (Metro Source) - Congressman Thad McCotter is running for President. The suburban Detroit Republican will file the paperwork today to run for the Republican nomination. McCotter will make the official announcement Saturday night at Whitmore Lake's Freedom Fest. McCotter represents western Wayne County and is currently in his fifth term in the U.S. House.
