APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - A man who was seriously injured in an explosion at the Appleton Medical Center in 2009 has gotten a $1.6 million settlement.
Attorneys for Daniel Quaintance says the court approved the deal with the boiler service company BurCon Services and its insurance company.
The blast blew a manhole cover off the boiler, hitting Quaintance in his head. He suffered injuries including facial fractures, traumatic brain injury and hearing loss.
