KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO)  --  It was the first meeting of the new school year for the Kalamazoo School Board and that means it was time to swear in the new members, and elect new leadership.   New trustee Jenny Hill received the oath, in a duet from her two daughters.   Mark Totten was also sworn in to a 4 year term.

Patti Scholler Barber ascended from the Vice-President’s seat to take over as board president for the year.  Trustee Marsha Warfield was elected Vice-President.  Ervin Armstrong will repeat as Treasurer, and Marcy Peake will continue her role as board Secretary for another year.
