CHARLOTTE, Mich (WLMI) A former mid-Michigan police officer charged with negligent homicide in the death of a bicyclist has been cleared of all charges. 48-year old Michael Morgan was found ‘not guilty’ yesterday in the 2009 death of 68-year old Bill Petry of Lansing. Morgan is a former Eaton Rapids and DeWitt Township police officer.
