TERRE HAUTE, IN (WIBQ) -- Its official: Terre Haute Planned Parenthood won’t serve its current Medicaid patients. That amounts to just over 260 people, and that’s because the state pulled Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood clinics all over the state. Planned Parenthood of Indiana wanted a temporary injunction yesterday, but it didn’t go into effect. It would have blocked the state from blocking funding since the clinics perform abortions. The ruling is now expected by July first, and if that ruling goes against Planned Parenthood, it will then start cutting staff and closing clinics.
