BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Police are searching for two men after a victim was shot and injured over the weekend.
First responders were called to the 100 block of West Rittenhouse Avenue between South Washington Avenue and Caroline Street around 6 a.m. Sunday where they located a man with a single gunshot wound. The 34-year-old victim was taken to Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek where he was treated and later released.
Officers identified three suspects involved in the shooting and apprehended one man in the first block of Academy Street shortly after the incident. Two men are still at large, but no descriptions have been released at this time.
