BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) - Battle Creek Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a home invasion and shooting early today.
Officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of Laura Lane around 3:30 this morning. Police said it appears that two black males wearing all black and ski masks forced entry into the home. Once inside they demanded money and fired several shots.
A 23-year old man in the house was struck in the leg. The suspects then fled on foot west bound. A k-9 track failed to locate the pair.
The shooting victim is reported in stable condition at Battle Creek Health Systems. If you have any information you should contact Silent Observer or the Battle Creek Police Department.
