Duets , ABC's new singing competition starring Sugarland 's Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson and her fellow Voice mentors Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke , now has a premiere date.  The show will debut May 24 -- just a few days after American Idol wraps up its 11th season -- at 8 p.m.

As previously reported, the show will find Jennifer, Kelly, Lionel, and Robin traveling across the country separately in search of undiscovered talent.  Each star will chose two singers to be their duet partners and will mentor them, and then they'll perform with them each week in front of a live studio audience.  The winner will receive a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
