KALAMAZOO, MI   (WKZO) -- A 31-year-old Kalamazoo man is being treated for stab wounds and the 53-year-old woman who detectives say stabbed him, is in custody.  She is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail for allegedly trying to kill him. 

Public Safety received a 9-1-1 call from Jack’s Party Store near Stockbridge after a man staggered in from a nearby home with two stab wounds, seeking help about 2:30 Thursday afternoon. No names have been released.   The victim is listed in stable condition at the Bronson Hospital Trauma Unit. The suspect is being held and is expected to be charged with assault with intent to murder.
