The Band Perry will begin work on their highly-anticipated sophomore soon, and they could have an A-list producer working on the project. The sibling trio recently met with Rick Rubin , who is famous for his work with Johnny Cash , the Dixie Chicks , Red Hot Chili Peppers and many other big acts.

Lead singer Kimberly Perry tells TheBoot.com , "He's really brilliant.  He was really fantastic.  We took a meeting with him a couple of weeks ago.  He was basically half-therapist, half-producer.  So we're excited."

Kimberly won't reveal if Rick is actually producing the new album though.

The group's new single, "Postcard from Paris," is the final single from their platinum, self-titled debut project.
