Lee Brice has scored the biggest hit of his career so far with "A Woman Like You." It comes on the heels of his first ACM Award win for co-writing the Eli Young Band hit "Crazy Girl" earlier this month. So, what's the secret to all this success?
"It's about work and patience," Lee explains. "You just keep working, you keep being patient, and then things like this just start happening, and it's cool."
"A Woman Like You" is the lead single from Lee's sophomore album, Hard 2 Love, due out April 24. Fans who listen to the record will hear a wide range of sounds beyond the laid-back feel of Lee's latest hit.
He says, "I'm a versatile music person, and all of that comes out in the whole album. There's not two songs on the album that sound anything alike."
Lee adds that the album chronicles the last year of his life, which includes his engagement to his girlfriend Sara earlier this year. They have a three-year-old son named Takoda together.
