MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) - A restaurant in downtown Marshall faces an uncertain future after being heavily damaged by fire Thursday night. The alarm for the blaze at RoMa’s Corner Café came in around 10: 30 p.m. The business at 228 West Michigan was closed when the fire broke out.
There was extensive smoke and water damage with the Marshall Fire Department calling it a total loss. No dollar figure was available and the cause of the fire hasn’t been determined. Marshall firefighters, with assistance from a trio of township fire departments in the area, were on the job for about three hours
