MUSKEGON, MI (WKZO) -- Muskegon officials have released the names of two of the gunshot victims in a domestic dispute gone horribly wrong on Saturday.
They say Police Sgt. Monica Shirey is recovering from shotgun pellet wounds to her leg and foot. Their suspect, Paul Osborn is also recovering, under police guard at the hospital from a gunshot wound.
Investigators say Osborn got into a loud and violent argument with his wife, and shot his neighbor in the leg when he intervened. He then shot the Sgt. as she was arriving on the scene, and was wounded when other officers returned fire. The prosecutor’s office is still working on the list of charges he will face
