LANSING (WKZO) -- Production of the Chevrolet Camaro will be moving from Ontario to Lansing within a few years.
The automaker says that better production efficiencies and lower costs for retooling were large factors in making the decision. The Ontario facility is being prepared to add the all-new Chevrolet Impala to its production lineup.
The Lansing plant also builds the Cadillac CTS and ATS models. It's not known if the move will mean additional work in Lansing.
