COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Numerous slide-off accidents and fender benders have been reported in Branch County, especially on I-69, since the snow started falling late this morning, keeping 911 Central Dispatch, police and Life Care ambulance crews busy.

The white stuff was blowing across roadways with gusty winds making for slippery driving conditions. Forecasters were predicting around 3 inches accumulation in the county before the storm system moves east out of the area tonight.
