BOWLING GREEN, OH (WKZO) -- Aurielle Anderson caught fire early Saturday, but it would not be enough as the Lady Broncos fell on the road to Bowling Green 67-56.

Anderson scored 23 of Western Michigan's first 37 points. She would finish the game with a career-high 29 points. Maria Iquaniello would be the only other Bronco in double figures, finishing with 11.

Western Michigan stayed with the Falcons in the early minutes of the game, but a 14-0 run blew the lead open to 23-9 in the first half. Bowling Green remains undefeated in MAC play. Their last conference loss was at the hands of Western Michigan last season.

The Broncos are off until next Saturday when they travel to Akron for a 5 pm game with the Zips.
