PAW PAW, MI (WKZO) -- The prosecutor is calling it a justifiable homicide The Lawton Police officer involved in a shooting that left a Galesburg man dead has been cleared for active duty. The Van Buren County Prosecutors office ruling that veteran Scott Hitchcock was justified in shooting Michael Adams last month when he first produced a hand gun, and then an assault rifle, even though he never got off a shot.
Adams reportedly told his passengers that he was not going back to jail, when he stepped out of the car armed, twice.
