Draymond Green and Branden Dawson each delivered a double-double yesterday as Michigan State won at Purdue 76-to-62. The victory allowed the Spartans to take sole possession of first place in the Big Ten at 11-and-3, a game ahead of Michigan and Ohio State, who are 10-and-4 following Michigan’s Saturday night win over Ohio State at Crisler Arena.
Yesterday at West Lafayette, Green had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assist while Dawson had 15 points to go with 11 boards. Seventh ranked Michigan State, now 22-and-5 overall, will take a 5-game winning streak into their contest Wednesday at Minnesota.
