KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) - Kalamazoo City Commissioners were told last night that the governor opposes a petition initiative in Kalamazoo requiring the city permit three Medical Marijuana dispensaries in commercial zones, but there is nothing they can do to keep it off the ballot.
City Attorney Clyde Robinson says even if passed, there won’t be any dispensaries in Kalamazoo. Commissioner Don Cooney says it will make a statement if it does pass. It will appear on the November ballot.
