Branch County Assistant Prosecutor Wants Job In Calhoun County

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Branch County’s Chief Assistant Prosecutor wants a new job. Mark Webb is a candidate for the Republican nomination for Calhoun County Prosecutor.

Webb, who’s from Marshall, has been in the Branch County post since January of 2009. Prior to that, he was in private practice after he had served as an assistant in the Calhoun County prosecutor’s office for ten years beginning in 1992.

Webb filed for the Prosecutor’s post on January 20^th.  He’s the only announced candidate. The democratic incumbent, Susan Mladenoff, said she’ll be running for re-election to a new 4-year term but hasn’t formally announced her plans.
