LANSING (WKZO) -- Patients with glaucoma will no longer be able to legally use marijuana if a bill passes in the state Legislature.  It cleared a Senate committee Tuesday.

Advocates say pot helps slow symptoms for the eye disease and might prevent blindness.  The proposal is supported by several physicians and medical groups that claim the drug does not increase the benefits of medication.
