SHERWOOD, MI (WTVB) - Reviewing pseudoephedrine sales logs on-line from area stores paid off last night for Branch County Sheriff’s Deputies who arrested 3 suspects on meth lab charges at a residence in Sherwood Township.
The two men and a woman were taken into custody after a search warrant was obtained for the home on Chippewa Drive. The sales of the ingredient used in producing the methamphetamine were noted at a store in Sturgis. Deputies said there was evidence of several one pot meth labs as well as drug sales and deliveries at the site in Sherwood.
One of the male suspects had a parole violation while the other is facing a probation charge. A meth cleanup firm from Plainwell was called to the scene to aid in removing the hazardous waste.
