LANSING (WKZO) -- Even with the failure of Proposal 6 on Tuesday, Ambassador Bridge owner Matty Moroun is not backing down. In a statement released by Mickey Blashfield, a spokesperson for Moroun, he said that there are serious financial, legal and logistical questions regarding the viability of a new bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Canada.
Moroun has repeatedly fought the construction of the proposed 2.1-billion dollar New International Trade Crossing, which would compete with his bridge business and any future plans to build a second span next to the Ambassador Bridge.
