GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO) - Kalamazoo wasn’t the only Michigan town to approve a new marijuana law. The City of Grand Rapids has voted to make possession of small amounts of grass, a civil infraction, subject to a ticket and a fine, instead of a criminal infraction and subject to arrest and criminal prosecution.
Detroit went one step further and voted to make possession of a small amount of grass on private property, legal. It’s still illegal to sell it outside of a medical marijuana arrangement.
