KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A Bloomingdale man who was critically injured when his Harley Davidson motorcycle hit a deer early Monday afternoon, has now died from his injuries at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
52 year old Thomas Earl Parsley was traveling down 6th Street in Pine Grove Township when the deer suddenly darted out into his path. He was thrown off the bike and onto the pavement, and there he lay until another motorist came along and called for help. He was unresponsive when ambulance crews arrived and had him airlifted to Bronson where he was admitted in critical condition. .
Parsley was wearing a helmet but it apparently was not enough alone to save him.
