Michigan sophomore point guard Trey Burke is a first team Associated Press All-American. He’s the first Wolverine to be so honored since Chris Webber in 1993. That’s also the last year Michigan advanced to the Final Four. It’s the Wolverines vs. Syracuse coming up Saturday night in the NCAA Tournament second semi-final game in Atlanta following the matchup between Louisville and Wichita State.
The winners meet next Monday night for the national title. Also honored Monday for Michigan was Glenn Robinson the Third, named to the Kyle Macy Freshman All-America team
