KENT COUNTY, MI (WKZO) -- Suspected double murderer Jevonte Higgins will be in a Michigan Court for the first time this morning after delaying extradition from Illinois by refusing to speak during extradition hearings. It took a Governor’s Warrant to bring him back to Michigan, where he is suspected in the execution style slayings of a couple in their 80’s.
They happened to be home January 5th when police say he broke into their home to rob them. They claim he then stole David and Vivian Bauman’s Cadillac and torched it in a Wyoming parking lot. He then fled to Illinois, where he was arrested.
