CBS officials say this year's NCAA men's basketball tournament averaged the most viewers in nearly two decades. Louisville's victory over Michigan in Monday night’s championship game drew an audience of 23-point-four million people. The entire tournament averaged ten-point-seven million total viewers, an eleven percent increase from the year before.
There’s no word yet from any of Michigan’s pro prospects on whether their future plans include staying around for another season of college ball with the Wolverines, but Indiana junior guard Victor Oladipo said Tuesday he’s heading to the NBA.
And in women’s college basketball, Connecticut last night leveled Louisville 93-to-60 in the national championship game. It's the eighth title for the Huskies, tying Tennessee for most all time.
