NASCAR is handing down severe penalties to Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano's teams at Penske Racing. Seven members have been suspended for illegal parts found on their cars this past weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Both drivers and the owners were also docked 25 points each.
Crew chief of the number-two car Paul Wolfe was suspended six races, placed on probation for the rest of the year and fined 100-thousand-dollars. Logano's crew chief Todd Gordon received the same punishment as Wolfe and several others were also suspended six races. Penske Racing said in a statement it will appeal the penalties.
