Justin Moore is on his way to scoring yet another #1 hit with the playfully romantic single "Point at You," but there was a time not long ago Justin wondered if his run of hits was drying up. His last chart topper, "Til My Last Day," took months to catch on at radio.
"It was probably the slowest record of my career," Justin says of the chart climb for "Til My Last Day." "There were times during that record at 40, I thought it was done. I said, 'Man, I don't know if I'm gonna have another hit.' I really did. I'm thinking, 'I might be done.'"
"Til My Last Day" eventually caught fire at radio, and "Point at You" is following suit. That new track is the lead single from Justin's upcoming third studio album, Off the Beaten Path .
Says Justin, "We've had the luxury of, on our first two albums, having a big hit record to kind of kick off the albums coming out. You know, fortunately, we've done that again for whatever reason."
Off the Beaten Path is due out September 17 featuring Justin's duets with Miranda Lambert and Charlie Daniels .
