ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) - A day after the Lions embarrassing 24-to-6 pre-season loss at Cleveland, the club continued shuffling its roster on Friday. Detroit released cornerback Conroy Black, who was originally let go by the Lions in May before being re-signed on Tuesday. He didn’t play against the Browns. The Lions also released defensive end Braylon Broughton, who managed to get in on seven plays at Cleveland.
Next Thursday, Detroit will try to improve on its 1-and-1 exhibition record when its plays the New England Patriots at Ford Field.
