ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) - The Lion’s offensive line play in training camp still has the right tackle and right guard positions up for grabs and Sunday, the club added another possible candidate to the competition with the signing of tackle Kevin Haslam while releasing tackle Austin Holtz. The 26-year old Haslam spent two seasons in Jacksonville and then started 3 games for San Diego last year. This summer, he was in camp with the New England Patriots before being released Friday. Detroit will host the Patriots Thursday at Ford Field for their third pre-season game.
The Lions have a 1-and-1 exhibition record after taking a 24-to-6 beating by the Browns last week at Cleveland.
