KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Governor Snyder continues to travel the state campaigning for passage of Medicaid Expansion as a showdown in the Senate could come next week.
Kalamazoo Democratic House Rep. Sean McCann may not agree with the Governor on a lot of things, but they agree on this measure. He says there was bi-partisan support for the measure in the State House.
McCann says its difficult to predict what may happen in the Senate, but he thinks the votes are there.
Passage of the measure will mean healthcare coverage for thousands of low income workers who cannot currently afford that coverage.
The Governor will appear at a town forum this evening in Grand Rapids to talk about Medicaid Expansion and other issues.
